CollegeDekho, India’s leading higher education platform, has raised ₹30 crore (approximately $3.5 million) in funding from Lighthouse Canton. The investment will be used to enhance technology, expand student outreach, and prepare for the upcoming admission cycle.
Founded in 2015 by Ruchir Arora, Saurabh Jain, Rohit Saha, and Rajiv Singh, CollegeDekho provides a range of services, including test preparation, college search, admission guidance, and enrollment support. The company has assisted over two lakh students in securing college admissions across India.
Since its inception, CollegeDekho has acquired four companies—ImaginXP, PrepBytes, GetMyUni, and Scholarship Facilitation Services—to strengthen its offerings. The startup previously raised $35 million in a Series B funding round in 2021.
Recently, the company appointed Arshad Mumtaz as COO of its retail business and Deep Prakash as Head of Sales to drive further growth and expansion.
